History of AmiQWK
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
1.0 June 10, 1992 First Public Release.
1.1 July 1, 1992 Bug Fix, Minor features added.
* Auto Activation of reader window after packet extraction.
* Changed wildcard matching to '#?.q#?' for systems not running
something to allow use of the '*' wildcard.
* In version 1.0, if a file was extraced from a root directory,
AmiQWK would not be able to determine the archive method. This bug
has been eliminated. - Special thanks to Todd Cottle for finding
this bug.
* When entering a message, if Cancel was selected from the conference
requester, a non-existing conference would be selected and the name
of the first conference would be cleared. AmiQWK now reverts to the
previously selected conference.
* If Cancel was selected on the Conference requester when reading
messages, AmiQWK would start reading from the first message in
the conference. AmiQWK now returns to the message being read when
the Conference requester was called.
1.2.1 August 18, 1992 Fixed problem with some mail doors (such as
RAMail) that fill the MSB of the conference number with a space
($20). If you were getting some really wierd conference numbers (in
the 8192-8447 range) this problem is fixed.
1.2.2 November 17, 1992 Fixed problem with some mail doors (such as
VBBS) that put garbage in the MSB of the conference number. AmiQWK
should not have any trouble with conference numbers ever again as
I have added very strict error checking.
Also, 'Version AmiQWK' from the CLI now returns the version number.
